Scientific researches proved that nutrient deficiency and free radicals are the causal factors in nearly every know disease: alzheimer’s disease, cancer, cataracts, diabetes, heart disease; and the aging process itself!

Free radicals are generated inside and outside of our bodies.
Free radicals are generated inside and outside of our bodies.

However we cannot avoid our body’s exposure to the sources of free radicals.  They are generated internally inside our body and also from our surrounding environment.

To take a closer look, below are examples of various sources of free radicals generated inside and outside our body.

Inside Factors

Metabolism generates free radicals inside our body.  With every breath we take, 2% of unburned oxygen would be generated as free radicals.

When we do exercise, more free radicals is generated.

Stress produce a lot of free radical especially people nowadays are exposed to increasing pressure from all areas of life.  Actually overwork and stress are major causes of cancer as well.

One cigarette generates 100,000 million million free radicals.  That’s why smokers have a higher risk of heart decrease and cancer.

Unhealthy eating habits include unbalanced diets, preservations and additives in food, the type of food, the food processing, and even the speed and time of eating.

Alcohol drinking adds another factor for free radicals generation.

Virus infection is an internal source of free radical.  We are exposed to virus infection from time to time.

Outside Factors

Chemical toxins may be from the antiseptic spray on vegetables and fruits, electric waste and other sources in our daily life.

Sunlight is a major source of free radical.  Even in cloudy days, we are exposed to UV light.

Radiation is increasing in sources around city life.  Mobile phone, TV, computer, X-ray, microwave and many electronics equipment generate lot free radicals to our body.

Air pollution is a common social problem now all over the world.  Emission from factories, automobile and building sites lead to serious air pollution in a lot of cities.
